I came to the Tri-Cities to lead this ministry in 2015 and quickly realized there's no place better than the Pacific Northwest. I love the people, the landscape and the nearby mountaineering.
My wife, Becca, and I have three teenage daughters. We're on the move a lot, but crave time together at home around a deck of cards or a good movie.
I'm a graduate of Martin Luther College, New Ulm and Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary, Mequon. I love to preach, create new ministries, and teach the Bible to new or yet-to-be Christians.

I graduated from Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN in 2017. I then attended Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, WI for four more years of training for the pastoral ministry. Since the summer of 2021, I have served as a pastor wherever God has called me.
I arrived here at The Ridge in 2026 after previously serving God's people in Minnesota. Ever since I moved my family out west from half way across the country, we have absolutely loved getting to know the area and the people. My wife, Bethany, and I have three young kiddos who keep us more than busy, but I will always cherish the time we spend playing and laughing together. I have a heart for diving deep into God's word in Bible studies, engaging the youth in a caring Christian community, and singing God's praises.

Early Childhood Director
Born in Australia, I pursued my love of cooking by attending culinary school before discovering that my greatest passion was teaching and working with young children. I went on to study Early Childhood Education at Martin Luther College in Minnesota and spent several years directing preschools in New Mexico and California. In 2019, I was called by Southridge Church to establish Southridge Early Learning Center, which opened its doors in 2020. That calling brought me to Kennewick, where I continue to serve children and families through a ministry that combines my love of teaching with my faith.
In addition to being the Director of Southridge Early Learning Center, I also serve as Early Childhood District Coordinator for the Pacific Northwest District. Teaching has been my passion throughout my entire career, and I truly cannot imagine a more rewarding profession. One of the greatest joys of my work is sharing the love of Jesus with the children and helping them grow in their faith. I also love teaching them sign language and creating hands-on learning experiences, especially cooking together in the classroom. Seeing their excitement as they discover something new is a joy that never gets old!Outside the classroom, I enjoy cooking, spending time at the beach, and making memories with my family.
