Multisite, explained

The things people most often need cleared up.
Are Southridge and Westridge the same church?

They are two separate congregations of one church family called The Ridge. Each has its own building, its own service time and its own congregation. The teaching, the leadership and the beliefs are shared.

Which one should I go to?

Whichever is closer or fits your week. Southridge meets Sunday mornings at 10:00 in Kennewick. Westridge meets Saturday evenings at 5:00 in West Richland. Some people switch week to week, or go to both.

Is Westridge new?

Yes. Westridge Church is a new church plant in West Richland, meeting in a former event center at the base of Flat Top Hill that the congregation is currently making its own.

Why is it called The Ridge?

This name ties us to the community. The ridges of the Tri-Cities are recognizable and beautiful pillars of the local landscape, and for centuries have offered security and safety for its inhabitants. This name also ties us to our God. He is the foundation of our faith and ministry and provides continual spiritual safety and security. Psalm 18:2 refers to God in this way: "The Lord is my high ridge, my stronghold, my deliverer. My God is my rocky summit where I take shelter."

Can my child attend the preschool if we go to Westridge?

Southridge Early Learning Center is at the Kennewick building and serves families from across the Tri-Cities and surrounding area, whether they attend one of our churches or not.
